Puyallup Rodeo Debuts Ultimate After-Rodeo Party with Rocky Mountain Oysters

What goes together with cowboys, cowgirls and rabid rodeo fans? The "Party in the Dirt" event following the 6:30 p.m. Puyallup Rodeo on Saturday, Sept. 12th, of course!

It's as simple as holding a ticket to any 2009 Puyallup Rodeo, then buying your $20 event ticket. This ultimate after-rodeo party features Rocky Mountain oysters (yep, that's right!), a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, beverage, dancin' in the dirt, the mechanical bull, and the rock-n-roll sounds of Shelley and the Curves.

You'll also get a chance to meet with some of the best rodeo performers in the business, hoping they'll teach you the latest rodeo tips in the industry. Then you can try them out when it's your turn to step up in line and ride the mechanical bull!

Whether you are brazen enough to try a Rocky Mountain oyster -- or not -- it will be a great opener to introduce yourself to someone new!

The Puyallup Fair website link, http://www.thefair.com/rodeo/schedule_tickets.php will make it easy for you to buy your ticket online.

Tickets are limited, so get yours right away so you can attend the very first rodeo after-party. It's guaranteed to be memorable.

Summer has arrived, and that means that the Puyallup Fair will be here before we know it! This year, the Fair starts on Friday, September 11th (it always starts the Friday after Labor Dayand runs for 17 days), and it looks to be the very best ever. In fact, it will be The BIG Fantastic!

We're not alone in saying that, either. We recently received word from Evening Magazine's "Best in the Northwest" that the Puyallup Fair was selected the BEST AMUSEMENT PARK.

When it comes to Party Animals, Seattle Magazine's "Best of 2008" selected the Puyallup Fair as the best place to be. How can we go wrong with animals of every shape, size, color - and more - to greet our guests? Mutton Bustin' was a particular hit with Seattle Magazine. It was pictured in full color, with a little girl wearing a sweet outfit complete with dainty pink and white shoes and socks -- and riding a sheep! Whether you know the children participating or not, you'll still love watching the competition. Everyone who enters is a winner, whether they can take that big step to hug a handful of fluff and hold on tight, or just get close to doing so.
